You're invited to our next Bluestocking Salon on Tuesday, November 12, at 7:00pm on Zoom. We will discuss Dr. Gavin Ortlund's new book, What it Means to Be Protestant, and Dr. Ortlund will join us for the discussion.
Dr. Ortlund is an author, apologist, and Theologian-in-Residence at Immanuel Nashville. His YouTube channel, Truth Unites, seeks to educate all Christians on evangelical theology and the distinctives of Protestantism, for the purpose of truth, clarity, and unification. It also serves as a credible voice to the broader culture concerning the truth of Christianity.
Dr. Ortlund's latest book, What it Means to Be Protestant, is a winsome and accessible treatment of historic Protestantism and its vision of an always-reforming church. Whether you are a Protestant or non-Protestant Christian, this is an important book for gaining a fair, accurate understanding about all we have in common and what distinguishes our respective traditions.
This event is free for paid Patreon members of The Society for Women of Letters and $7.00 for others who wish to attend. Women and men are welcome!
