The Wisdom and Wonder Conference at Houston Christian University

From Dr. Melissa Cain Travis: Please plan to join us on campus at HCU on April 25th for our annual spring conference, now reimagined as Wisdom & Wonder!

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Paul Gould of Palm Beach Atlantic University, who will deliver a keynote lecture entitled “On Re-enchantment: Seeing, Delighting, Inviting.” Dr. Gould has written and contributed to numerous books, including Cultural Apologetics: Renewing the Christian Voice, Conscience, and Imagination in a Disenchanted World. He is also the co-host of the Eudo Podcast, which is dedicated to discussions on human flourishing in a disenchanted world.

We have a fantastic lineup of workshop leaders, including E. Stephen Burnett, publisher of lorehaven.com, host of the Fantastical Truth podcast, and author of Above the Circle of Earth. Faculty from HCU’s School of Christian Thought and College of Arts and Humanities will be offering workshops on a variety of topics related to the cultivation of wisdom and wonder.
